I’m excited to host an open house this Sunday at a beautiful house in Hamilton! This house sits on nearly 1.5 acres, with plenty of trees and privacy. It’s just around the corner from the park and ride lot or Route 7, though, so commuting is easy! Enjoy country living with city convenience! Full details are here.
Neighborhood Spotlight: Brookmeade
Brookmeade is a condominium complex that is well loved by its residents. It’s located in the town of Leesburg, off Gateway Drive and Harrison Street. That puts it in easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants in the southeast east portion of Catoctin Circle, between Market Street and King Street. Attractions include the weekly farmers market at the Virginia Village shopping center.
Brookmeade has three floors, and the units are two and three bedroom condos. Each unit is one level. Units often come up for sale and rent. The complex is dog friendly, too.
People love living in Brookmeade! Residents speak highly of the great location. They love being close to downtown Leesburg for fun, and close to the toll road and Route 7 for commuting to work. Residents also enjoy the clean condo common grounds, and the beautiful pool.
If you are interested in buying or renting in Brookmeade, I’d love to help! Call or email me today!

Open House This Sunday, Sept. 9, in Round Hill
This Sunday I’ll be holding an open house at a single family home in the Villages at Round Hill.
This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house stands out from the rest with its prime location: at the end of the neighborhood, with a quarter acre lot that backs to trees. Built in 2016, it has many nice touches that are nearly brand new! The basement is unfinished, so you have the opportunity to finish it to your tastes.
Imagine enjoying iced tea on the front porch during the summer, and cozying up by the fireplace in the family room during the winter. This house would be a joy year round!
The open house is Sunday, September 9th from 1-4pm. The address is 16811 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill VA 20141. Full details of the house are here. Please share with anyone you know in the market for a house!

Neighborhood Spotlight: Leesburg Gateway II
Leesburg Gateway II is a condominium complex in the town of Leesburg, inside the bypass, near the intersection of Gateway Drive and Harrison Street. The buildings in the complex all have addresses on Constellation Square SE.
Leesburg Gateway II is a popular complex, with some original owners still in residence. Residents love the location, which is convenient to downtown Leesburg, Market Street, and Route 7. People rave about how quickly they can get to anything.
The community is also set apart by the friendly community atmosphere. Residents know their neighbors, and people help one another. One woman shared a story about how her neighbors took her to urgent care after an injury recently. The neighborly vibe and pride in residence is evidence by how people take care of their door areas, with many decorating with wreathes and other ornamentals.
Residents also speak highly of the HOA management company. Every stairwell has a bulletin board with the latest news and reminders. The management company also provides useful services, such as coordinating dryer vent cleaning annually (included in the HOA dues).
The outdoor spaces of the community are well maintained. The neighborhood is dog friendly, and dog owners are diligent about picking up after their pets and keeping clean walkways and grass. There is also plenty of visitor parking.
Leesburg Gateway II has 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units that are sold and rented. It’s a popular neighborhood, so places get scooped up quickly. I am very familiar with the rental and sale markets in this community, and I would be happy to help you find your new home in Leesburg Gateway II. Call or email me today!

This Sunday I’m headed to Brambleton again for another open house! This 3 bed/ 2.5 ba condo is 5 years young, and has high end touches. Listed at $369,000, it won’t last long.
I hope to see you at the open house!
Town Profile: Leesburg (Master Gardener Demo Garden & Community Garden)
Northern Virginia towns offer so much to residents, and two of the many offerings in Leesburg are the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden and the Community Garden! I enjoyed a visit to both locations this past Friday evening.
The Demo Garden and Community Garden are located next to each other in Ida Lee Park. This is just north of downtown, and walking distance to the following neighborhoods: Andover Meadow, Exeter, Exeter Hills, Leesburg Historic District, Manors of Leesburg, Paxton, Peer Manor, and Warren Hill.
The Demo Garden is maintained by Loudoun County Master Gardeners, and it’s a beautiful garden to visit! The garden contains several sections, each with a different emphasis. Since I was visiting with my son, we appreciated the children’s garden.
The Community Garden offers plots for rent to residents, allowing those who may not have garden space at home an opportunity to grow! I really enjoyed seeing how each gardener was given essentially the same space, but made his or her own choices and each space was unique!
Here is more information about the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden and the Community Garden. I hope you can enjoy visiting them soon!
